DETAILED ITINERARY:

At the bus stop located in Calle Zela block 03, at the chosen time we will start the "Tour Countryside in Panoramic Bus" also known as Mirabus Panorámico, at this point we will be welcomed by our Guide who will give us detailed explanations of all the points of our itinerary. We will enjoy sitting on the second floor of the mirabus to have a better view of all the tourist attractions of the city of Arequipa, we can get off the bus at the following points:


First point will be the Yanahuara District where we can take photos in the famous Portals of Yanahuara with the background of the Misti volcano, we will also see the Church of this traditional district. In this place they sell the traditional ice cream cheese, which is a typical Arequipa dessert, its unique flavor is mandatory tasting.


Then, we go to the second point that will be the Carmen Alto viewpoint, there you will be able to appreciate the andenería of the district and also the three volcanoes that we have in Arequipa; Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu.


Then we move to the third point that will be the Incalpaca Mini-Zoo, admission is free and we will be able to appreciate the four South American camelids (Llama, Alpaca, Vicuña and Guanaco).


Our next fourth point is the Goyeneche Palace; It is a colonial house, now converted into a museum, which houses important relics of history, from various parts of the world collected over time. Admission is optional but recommended.

Finally we will visit the sixth point that will be the Sabandia Mill inside which the water mill is working and also a mini-zoo that houses in a particular way a fighting bull called the terminator, which can be scratched on the back. The entrance is optional, if you want to stay out you can find optional activities such as horseback riding, ATV ride, Zipline, and also taste typical Arequipeña food. Then we will return to the center of the city of Arequipa which we will be arriving in approximately 45 minutes.

  • Can I reserve seats on the second floor of the bus?

    • Yes, generally the entire tour is done from the second floor of the bus to have a better view throughout the tour; In case you are taking the tour with older adults or newborns, it is recommended to take the tour on the first floor.


  • Can children sit in the first row on the second floor of the bus?

    • From the age of 12, minors can sit in the first row of the bus; this is for safety and care of minors.


  • From what age do children pay?

    • Minors pay from the age of 05 since they are assigned an individual seat; in the case of minors under 05 years old, they are exempt from payment as long as they sit on the lap of an adult; If you want the child to have his/her own seat, you pay the normal rate.


  • Is it mandatory to pay for the entrance fees to the places that require it?

    • The entrance fees to Carmen Alto, the San Rafael Village and the Sabandía mill are optional and if you choose to pay for the entrance fee when you arrive at each point; generally, most people enter Carmen Alto since the entrance ticket is general; in the case of the San Rafael Village and the Sabandía Mill, they are museum-type attractions of knowledge and learning; if you are a history lover, it is definitely recommended that you enter the attractions.


  • Does the tourist bus have a bathroom?

    • The bus does not have toilets; However, at each stop you can use the bathrooms that are located there.


  • How long can we stay at each point of the tour?

    • At the first points, which are the Mirador de Yanahuara and Carmen Alto, you are given a time of approximately 15 to 20 minutes; at the later points such as Incalpaca, San Rafael Village and Molino de Sabandía, you are given a time of approximately 30 minutes; as long as you decide to enter the attractions, that depends on what the group decides and in coordination with the guide on duty. Normally when no one wants to enter the Mansión del Fundador, the tour continues to the Molino de Sabandía and on the way a small stop is made at the Museo del Toro Menelik (representative bull of Arequipa); this is an optional visit since it is not part of the tour and a ticket of S/. 6.00 per person, It is important to emphasize that the visit to the Menelik Bull Museum only takes place when no one wants to enter the Founder's Mansion.


  • Is it worth entering San Rafael Village and the Sabandía Mill?

    • That depends a lot on the purpose for which you are taking the tour; these attractions are museum-houses that house important data about the history of our city; if you want to learn more; without a doubt you cannot miss visiting these places since they house very interesting data to learn.


  • Do you pick me up from my hotel?

    • There are no hotel pick-ups, the pick-up point is in Plaza de Armas, there we gather the group and take them 3 blocks where the bus parks.
